While Valerie Villi took out the hattrick of Supreme Awards at the Halbergs, rowing once again dominated the stage at this years event in Auckland tonight.

As predicted in the lead up article Mahe won the Male athlete of the year, Hamish Bond and Eric Murray the Teams award and Dick Tonks the coach of the year.

 

The icing on the cake was the recognition of Caroline and Georgina as the Athlete(s) of the decade.  Double Olympic Champions.
