Talking of Stats - 67 events, 843 crews, 3 days and they find the winners
With our Nationals Championships due soon, these are the stats for the National Championships held in the UK during the summer on an 8 lane 2000 meter course. Everyone gets a fair go and there are repechages for all events where there are less than 25 entries. While the events are not the same as those for our Nationals we take 5 days to get a result for roughly the same number of events and 20% fewer crews. They charge from £22 ($nz55) for a single to £70 ($nz 175) for a coxed four and £118 ($nz 295) for an eight. This is about the level of the entry fee for the Australian Nationals at $A 33.00 a seat + gst |
