Switching Sports - BikeNZ seeks success from RowingNZ

It seems that Bike Nz are following in the footsteps of their British Counter part and looking to broaden their talent pool ahaed of the 2012 Olympics.  In the UK Rowing's Silver medalist, Rebecca Romero, made the switch after Athens and bagged a gold in Beijing.  The question is can New Zealand do the same?

In a Boat with 23 others

Ever thought what it would be like to row in a boat with 23 other scullers?  One of the only boats that this can happen in is the Stamphli Special. Last year a crew, unsuccessfully, tried to do a best time over 2000 meters.

A small team of 5 from the Eastern Bay Scullers Club are heading across to Italy for the 2nd official FISA World Coastal Rowing Championships.  We are hoping to provide a conduit of their exploits as they participate in the form of rowing madness.
